A couple of weeks ago (September 5th) marked the release of Sarah J Maas's new novel: Tower of Dawn. It is known as the 'sixth throne of glass' novel. Here is what the first book looks like!
Instead of carrying on the story, this book follows Chaol and Nesryn and what they have been up to. I am currently about half-way through (late I know) and really enjoying it! S J Maas has started to show Chaol in a more favourable light and it is interesting to see how he is coping with his disability and the relationships with the new characters in this latest novel. As always I love her writing and the characters are like old friends by now, so I love being back in this world she has created. I have inserted a photo of some art they included in the edition of Tower of Dawn I got that is of Aelin, as I love it.
So that is what I am currently reading and next I hope to read They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera, as it is a bit shorter and a different genre. I am hoping it will be a quick read after Tower of Dawn as it is about a 600 page book! Not that I mind but I like reading different length books so I don't end up not enjoying them and to reading anything at all (the horror).
In other news, below is a photo I took on a recent cocktail evening out. Where I went, the menu's were actually old Penguin Classics' books, I thought it was so original and quirky, (and made a great photo) that I wanted to share it!
